Job Title: Mailroom Clerk

Job Summary:

Prepares UPS and FedEx mailing for daily pick up and distributes incoming mail. Arranges freight shipments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares mailings for daily pick up

Distributes incoming mail to appropriate departments

Arranges freight shipments

Qualifications:

Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Technical Qualifications & Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Basic experience with MS Word, MS Excel, Oracle, and Internet access.
