Job Description Summary | Adjunct faculty in the College of Nursing and Health Professions (CONHP) are responsible for teaching pre-licensure Baccalaureate nursing students in the classroom and/or clinical agency setting. The faculty member will provide education in the preparation of the generalist nurse in the areas of medical surgical (beginning, advanced, critical care), obstetrics, pediatrics, mental health, and community health nursing. Under the general supervision of the Undergraduate Co-Directors, the adjunct faculty functions as non-tenured faculty temporarily employed by Lewis University College of Nursing and Health Professions to teach a clinical or theory section of a course. Employment is on an individual course, as needed basis. |

Minimum Qualifications | Master's degree in Nursing. Two years full-time clinical practice experience. Current RN License in the State of Illinois. Must have schedule flexibility to be available for students. Excellent communication skills. |
