Job Description
Overview

Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking PRN/pool CRNAs to join our award-winning, fully integrated health care delivery system. The anesthesiology team consists of Anesthesiologists, other CRNAs, and a host of Anesthesia Techs, OR/Surgical Techs, and RNs, and other support personnel. Responsibilities

  • Provide professional anesthesia services to the defined patient population and assure continuity of care for those patients.
  • As may be reasonably required by Mercy, work with the Medical Director to provide input into budgets, capital expenditures, strategic planning and marketing, to the extent that such duties do not interfere with your performance of the first duty described above.
  • As may be reasonably required by Mercy, assist in recruitment of additional CRNA's to the area, to the extent that such duties do not interfere with your performance of the first duty described above.
  • Perform all other duties as reasonably required by Mercy to the extent that such duties do not interfere with your perfo1mance of the first duty described above and with the purpose of your employment under this Agreement.

Education and Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited CRNA program

Certification/Licensure

  • Current, or eligible for, IL APNP license
  • Current, or eligible for, DEA licensure
  • Current CPR, ACLS, NALS and PALS certifications
  • Ability to pass Illinois Health Care Worker's Background Check
