Duties and Responsibilities | - Monitors the entrance doors of the residence halls to ensure safety of the residents and security of the halls. - Monitors the entry and exit of individuals to and from the residence halls. - Signs in guests of residents; and, reporting any and all suspicious activity in their area to Campus Safety. - Works overnights on Friday and Saturday nights, 11:45 p.m. to 8:15 a.m. |
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience | High School Diploma or GED and zero-one year of related experience. |
Qualifications | - In addition to the above, qualified candidates must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to project a professional, friendly demeanor to students, faculty, staff, and visitors; and have basic computer familiarity. - Prior experience in an educational environment a plus. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
