Job Description

Director, Marketing & CommunicationsHybrid-Remote (3/2)Relocation Assistance AvailableTEL US is looking for a talented leader for our Marketing and Communications team. Our ideal candidate is a proven leader who excels at partnering with global internal stakeholders to create marketing strategies and at organizing the team's efforts to accomplish those. This person has strong interpersonal skills, understands creative processes and communications techniques, and can develop team members - be they communications specialists, graphic designers, 3D artists, event planners, or team leaders. As the leader of our in-house agency, this person will be bringing our established global brand to life through internal and external communications, events, digital and video content, tradeshows, and product marketing.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead, develop, and support a diverse group of marketing and communications professionals as they achieve objectives that support our company
  • Develop and execute US marketing communication strategy and plans
  • Establish team processes that improve its efficiency and effectiveness
  • Oversee the production of significant communication and marketing content and collateral, (print/digital/video) to support major events, tradeshows, product marketing, and ongoing awareness
  • Develop and execute internal and external communications strategies, including media relations, social media, and executive keynotes
  • Plan and execute tradeshows and other internal and external events
  • Provide keynote and presentation support to executive leaders
Typical Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field with 12 years of related experience
  • Experience leading diverse and high-paced teams
  • Expertise working in a multi-national company
  • 25% travel, domestic & international
Physical Demands and Work ConditionsThe physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds.
