Job Summary:

As a beverage server, you will be serving beverages to customers on the casino floor in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner while ensuring a positive experience for all customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
* Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
* Serving customers as part of a team by anticipating their needs, initiating conversation, offering assistance and advice and remembering that "the customer is always right"
* Performing beverage set-up, running side work, and closing duties
* Possessing extensive knowledge of the restaurant's menu and wine list, including daily specials
* Checking identification to ensure customers meet minimum age requirements for consuming alcoholic beverages
* Checking identification to ensure customers are using players cards issued to them and no one else
* Pushing in empty chairs at slot machines and table games areas of the casino floor
* Computing customer checks, operating the POS system and accepting payments
* Reporting tips for each shift
* Maintaining bar safety and sanitation standards
* Possessing awareness of potential hazards, which could cause, but are not limited to, slipping, tripping, falling or burns
* Arriving for each shift on time and in full uniform
* Attending all pre-shift meetings ready to "listen and learn" and share ideas
* Avoid leaving work area during peak periods
* Taking breaks only when approved by the Manager
* Keeping a clean and professional appearance at all times
* Assisting with cleanliness of the casino property Front and Heart of House
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
* Must have high school diploma or equivalent
* Must have one year or more related experience
* Must have alcohol certification
* Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands:

* Regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
* Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds
* Frequently required to stoop, crouch, or kneel
* Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor.

Work Environment:

The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
