What will you be doing?

As a Contracts Manager in WWT's Public Sector Contracts department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive contracting expertise to support sales in the federal and/or state and local government sectors. You will interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, while ensuring that contracts are pursued, negotiated, and managed to achieve optimum sales performance, safeguarding WWT's interests and facilitating compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Your responsibilities may include end-to-end administration of public sector contracts awarded to WWT.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to public sector business teamsfor tasks such as:
    1. Tailored acquisition advice to enable compliant, winning bid responses.
    2. Request for proposal analysis and interpretation, including risk identification and analysis and recommendations for proposal compliance.
    3. Review and negotiation of prime and subcontracting agreements.
    4. Responses to internal inquiries regarding contractual obligations.
  • Provide comprehensive contract management support to the public sector sales organization, including but not limited to:
    1. Assist, review and advise on contract-related issues during bid submission.
    2. Ensure application of internal process results in contractually compliant bid submission.
    3. Advise on contractual complexities related to issues such as statement of work interpretation, Enterprise Agreements, OEM Services resale, XaaS terms, organizational conflict of interest, small business requirements, contract structures, contract types, and reporting requirements.
    4. Review and approve customer awards for both contractual accuracy and WWT position.
    5. Facilitate internal and external customer engagement as needed to adjudicate and resolve contract, subcontract, and teaming negotiations.
    6. Serve as approval authority for contract actions.
  • Execute corporate processes to ensure WWT remains in compliance with the contractual terms.
  • Provide the expertise required for effective resolution of post-award contract administration,which may include (as applicable): support for contract performance and audit issues; contract interpretation; contract funding, set-up, and kick-off; management of scope changes and contract modifications; requirements involving coordination with WWT's legal department; maintaining contract files; pricing oversight and/or reporting under applicable buying vehicle; close out procedures.
  • Advising department leadership to evaluate, draft, and implement internal process and policy related to evolving government regulation, executing compliant contract outcomes, and generally increasing the speed and efficiency of executing contract transactions from award to close out.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of contract management and administration experience in the Federal and State and Local space is required, focus on Information Technology sales strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the review and understanding of terms and conditions, analysis of contract scope, and implementation of processes that ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local contracts.
  • Experience in monitoring, coaching and correct cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with corporate policy and contract terms.
  • Strong knowledge of, and experience with regulations and policies applicable to federal, state, and local governments and educational organizations, specific experience with federal regulations relating to services contracting, cost and pricing, and commerciality, preferred.
  • Experience leading successful negotiation of contractual agreements to support sales organization, including prime and subcontract agreements under federal, state, and local terms, Purchase Order terms and conditions, NDAs, MOUs, Teaming Agreements, Reseller Agreements, etc.
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and adjudicating risk to corporate interests in contractual terms and conditions.
  • Experience with General Services Administration (GSA) contracts and Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) preferred.

  • Strong writing ability a must; ability to convey complex scenarios in concise manner.
  • Ability to proactively identify and implement actions to achieve efficiencies in daily operations.
  • Ability to make business decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Passion for learning and continued education regarding WWT go-to-market strategy and the Information Technology industry.
  • Willingness be a team player, adapt to change and to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Sound interpersonal and conflict resolution skills for effective negotiation.
  • Strong PC skills (Office 365),experience with SharePoint and Salesforce is a plus.
  • A., Business, Finance or other related field or equivalent work experience,NCMA CPCM or CFCM is a plus.
  • US Citizenship required.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $100K to $130K. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
