Senior Advisor

Kwaan Tech is seeking a Senior Advisor to join our team in support of the US Department of State (DOS).

Core Duties:

• The DOS Office of the Coordinator of U.S. Assistance to Europe and Eurasia (ACE) seeks a Senior Advisor (SA) to serve as a liaison with the Special Representative for Ukraine Economic Recovery (SRUER).
• This part-time SA will serve as the "connective tissue" between SRUER's personal, non-United States Government staff, ACE, and other USG offices. The SA supports ACE's role in coordinating foreign assistance to Ukraine, helping the Department of State achieve its foreign policy objectives
• Relays SRUER's requirements to their private support team
• Deconflicts scheduling conflicts
• Routinely travels with SRUER
• Ensures that SRUER's priorities are aligned and that their role and profile are institutionalized in the Department and throughout the interagency
• Identifies ways to adapt, improve, and transfer current operations and services to achieve greater effectiveness
• Establishes and maintains working relationships with other DoS bureaus and federal agencies for purposes of resolving conflicts and assuring optimum coordination of programs and operations of high priority or special emphasis
• Facilitates connections between key stakeholders, visitors, and internal/external officials; virtually or in-person
• Attends meetings, takes notes, and reviews documents
• Routes official communication to the appropriate points of contact
• Prepares and enhances documents, presentations, reports, memos, emails, and other forms of official communication
• Conducts special projects and/or collaborates on special projects, as assigned
• Provides logistical, professional, and administrative support
