Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit | The Department of Political Science resides within the College of Arts and Sciences. The Department of Political Science is the fourth largest undergraduate major in the College with more than 700 majors, a graduate program of approximately 80 students in residence and 38 tenure/tenure-track and fixed-term faculty. The Department of Political Science at UNC is committed to a vision of the University where all members of the community feel welcome, valued, and can thrive. |
Position Summary | This position is located in the Political Science Department within the College of Arts and Sciences. We particularly welcome applications from scholars doing innovative research in political economy, political behavior or applied experimental research, including scholars whose work crosses traditional subfield or disciplinary boundaries. We seek applicants with a PhD or ABD in political science or related social science and/or computational social science fields, who show promise of research excellence and a desire to teach and train undergraduate and graduate students. |
