This is a role within Chamberlain Group's IT Information Services function. A successful incumbent is expected to lead the execution of the strategy and tactics necessary to improve the quality for Business to Customer (B2C) Master Data domains centrally govern across the enterprise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Influence, improve and facilitate documentation and use of the MDM data standards/definitions, process flows and supporting systems in an effort to advance our master data governance maturity and improve the quality of our data

  • Lead, coach, and train team members, end users, business partners and stakeholders on master data quality processes, tools, metrics and master data lifecycle to enable accurate, efficient, data-based processes and decisions

  • Create, measure and analyze master data content & quality to find and drive opportunities to improve the quality, accuracy and usability of the master data

  • Build strong relationships and partnerships with business stakeholders, leaders and end-users, including but not limited to, Finance & Accounting, HR, Customer Care, Manufacturing Operations, Global Sourcing, Distribution & Logistics, Engineering, Information Technology, and Sales & Marketing

  • Expert level understanding of the core business processes & system transactions and how master data impacts business activity and performance upstream and downstream to help identify gaps or opportunities to improve our data quality

  • Lead implementation of supporting technology and management processes to automate master data quality processes - including but not limited to software, forms, scripts, macros, workflows and tracking artifacts

  • Lead discussions and activities with our business partners to help them understand the quality of their data, evolve their data rules and business processes, and improve business partner training to increase adoption and maturity. Design, Develop, Deploy and support process to capture, access, prioritize data cleansing initiatives

  • Plan, Execute and Monitor projects for on time, on budget and on scope. Provide performance reports, tracking mechanisms; Timely reporting of actual time spent vs forecast and provide input to forecast process

  • Provide accurate estimates and forecast of resource time and skills for project

  • Lead definition and communicating data quality metrics to business partners and stakeholders; lead business partner data quality goal setting; lead implementation of quarterly community of practice meetings to keep business partners and stakeholders informed and engaged

  • Lead the Research, recommendation, design and implementation improvements to supporting tools and systems which include identify tool gaps, assess software solutions, vendor partnership, sell concepts internally, develop and manage projects to implement

  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent

Experience:

  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in SAP ERP system experience as Super User or Information Technology

  • Minimum 7+ years hands-on experience in Master Data Management functions

  • Minimum 7+ years working with business processes related to Engineering Change Notices, Finance and Accounting, Customer Care, Manufacturing Operations, Global Sourcing, Distribution & Logistics, or Sales & Marketing processes. Finance. Preferably in a high volume discrete manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum of 7 years as subject matter expert in one or more data domains like Materials, Customers or Vendors

  • Minimum of 3+ years using data quality tools like Informatica Data Quality

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expert-level skills in data quality and underlying processes to maintain and improve data quality

  • Expert skills in Engineering Change processes, Manufacturing Operations, Sourcing and or Distribution & logistics

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and to learn and adapt to new business processes, technologies and environments.

  • Expert-level analytical skills including data analysis, data profiling and reporting.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders; collaborate effectively.

  • Ability to estimate work efforts consistently and accurately; manages own time to meet estimates and project deadlines

  • Communicates clearly in both written and verbal communications; able to explain technical solutions to a business person.

  • Expert level skills in using Microsoft office tools

  • Expert level skills in Project Management

Other:

  • Able to travel occasionally domestically

Preferred Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent

Experience:

  • Experience with companies who have vertically integrated manufacturing and Supply Chains

  • Experience in global environments

  • Experience with Winshuttle, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint

  • Experience in 6-Sigma and lean methodologies

  • Experience in New product development projects

  • Experience using Business Intelligence tools like BOBJ, SAP BW, PowerBI, etc.
