The Brand Manager, Marketing - Jell-O will help with crafting customer demand for the Kraft Heinz, Jell-O brand business and help with formulating the brand's long-term strategy and developing and implementing marketing plans. They define the brand's pricing, packaging, trade merchandising, advertising and promotion strategies and allocate the budget accordingly. They implement marketing initiatives in support of long term strategies with help from the business unit team. Accountable for delivering the brand's profit, volume and market share goals. Though this position assists the business unit team on Jell-O in all aspects of the P&L, this position has specific category responsibility for Jell-O's Dry Packaged Desserts portfolio.


Key Components of the role

  • Generate consumer demand for assigned brands/categories and formulate the brand's long-term strategy
  • Define the brand's pricing, packaging, trade merchandising, advertising and promotion strategies and allocate the budget accordingly
  • Implement marketing initiatives in support of long-term strategies through leadership of the cross-functional team
  • Own the P&L for respective brands and categories and accountability for delivering profit, volume, and market share objectives
  • Steer cross-functional commercialization team to deliver product and packaging changes, including quality improvements, cost reductions and new item launches
  • Lead conversations on new product opportunities or developments within set time-scales and budgets
  • Provide field sales tools, materials, and training on brand/product introductions or improvements, as well as new marketing/sales campaigns, to achieve sales objectives
  • Responsible for Demand Review and inputs to IR/MBR, including Risk and Opps on Jell-O's Dry Packaged Desserts portfolio. Subject Matter Authority in Jell-O's Refrigerated Ready to Eat portfolio.
  • Lead all aspects of analysis and reporting of performance across various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Strategic capability and experience in marketing plan development; situation assessment, strategy and tactical plan development
  • Experience in cross-functional team management
  • Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver in agreed upon timelines
  • Experience with marketing campaign development
