JOB OBJECTIVE:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare breakfast and commence noon meal following menu schedule.
- Responsible for ensuring food is prepared and ready at scheduled time.
- Supervise kitchen helpers, assigning duties as required during absence of Kitchen Supervisor.
- Serves meals from serving line.
- Maintain a high degree of cleanliness and order in kitchen.
- Ensure that all personnel on shift understand need for personal hygiene, are clean shaven and wearing clean, appropriate clothing.
- Support the mission statement of The Salvation Army
OTHER DUTIES:
Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or Administrator.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervisory responsibilities for kitchen helpers when Kitchen Supervisor is unavailable. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with The Salvation Army's policies.
