SummaryThe role of Principal, Project Portfolio and Change Management will be responsible for the Technology Development Project Portfolio Management (PPM) measurement and reporting, business data management (including demand, portfolio, project, benefit, and resource management), and functional administration. This role will also act as the steward of the Global MiTek Change Management Process throughout MiTek.PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT:
Creates PPM information strategy, planning and designing views for the PPM processes, data and systems while negotiating common metrics/KPIs with the PPM business process owners. Includes PPM tool selection and implementation.
Provides PPM system expertise supporting PPM process experts and end-users with troubleshooting system requests, training, and workflow process definition.
Deploys leading practice reports to improve efficiency and productivity by proposing changes to existing processes and workflows.
Develops, promotes, supports and improves repeatable methods, measures and leading practices across the organization to provide reliable data to Tech Dev leaders to enable data driven decisions.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT:
Lead Global Change Management process and implement process tools within all MiTek.
Maintain best practices in change management to continually grow capability and skill set within company.
Continue to grow Change Champions membership globally within MiTek and provide training and tools necessary.
Bachelor's degree in Business or Scientific discipline preferred.
PROSCI Change Management Certification preferred
Knowledge and experience in project and portfolio management
Strong financial and analytical background
Excellent, organizational, written and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage multiple projects
Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global functional organization
Experience with PPM Pro, Power BI, Tableau, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, KeyedIn highly desired
Experience supporting software and engineering projects a plus
Knowledge of various project methodologies and governance process such as stage gate preferred
Experience administrating databases a plus
Must be collaborative in nature, utilizing exceptional listening and facilitation skills to drive effective outcomes and develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of multiple stakeholders
Ability to travel - This position may require travel up to 20%
