Job Description:

Position Highlights:

• Location: Elmhurst Hospital

• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 36 hours weekly

• Hours: Monday-Friday, start time is 6:00am.

What you will need:

• Requires a high school level of communication and/or math skills but no technical training prior to hire and less than three months of previous experience plus approximately one to three months of on the job experience.

• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross required.

• Proficient computer skills are a must.

What you will do:

Under close supervision, cleans and disinfects assigned areas according to prescribed procedures. Assists in preparing equipment for patients' use, maintain appropriate inventory of supplies and equipment, and replenishes supplies as needed. Transports patients to and from department as needed and performs general clerical duties such as answering phones, taking and relaying messages, and the like. Assists in wound care and dressing applications and changes in hydrotherapy. Will develop schedule for the department.
