Position: Japanese Bilingual Senior Auditor
Location: Chicago Area (Remote or Hybrid)
Industry: CPA Firm

OVERVIEW:
The Japanese Bilingual Senior Auditor responsible for day-to-day activities of audit engagements for corporate clients under direct supervision and may be assigned audit in-charge responsibilities. Position open to experienced candidates who needs visa support as well.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
* Auditing various business transactions and cycles such as cash, receivables, fixed assets, and expense analysis.
* Researching audit issues utilizing audit software and databases.
* Analyzing financial statements and internal controls in accordance with accounting principles and auditing standards.
* Collaborating with clients to establish rapport and foster strong relationships.
* Planning realistic time budgets and coordinating audit requests to meet client deadlines.
* Evaluating accounting procedures and proposing suggestions to enhance processes.
* Performing other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bilingual in English and Japanese is mandatory.
* Prior audit experience in a public accounting firm is mandatory.
* Eligibility to sit for the CPA exams is a requirement.
* Strong capability to collaborate effectively within a team.
* Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
