Wieland is hiring a Plant Manager. The Plant Manager will be responsible for the operational results of the business entity, including day to day areas of safety, quality, delivery and financial performance of the organization. The Plant Manager will focus on operations and will not have responsibility for the revenue side of the business or any sales reporting. In addition, the Plant Manager is responsible to derive the Strategies to achieve the Goals of the organization and striving toward the company's vision. This role is located in Wheeling, IL.

Plant Manager Responsibilities:

Drive Continuous Improvement of the Organization for future growth and success of the organization
• Satisfying customer expectations for quality, delivery and performance of products and services.
• Assuring performance to annual financial performance objectives of the organization.
• Aligning organizational results and plans with the overall corporate strategic vision and plans
• Developing the organization to foster continuous improvement.
• Establishing a culture of Lean Thinking and processes in the organization.
• Leading the organization including all leadership tasks such as performance review and management

Plant Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Business/Finance/Engineering/Operations/Management or other related field
• MBA and/or any high-level Leadership-Management training desirable
• 3 - 5 years of management experience in production environment
• Ability to coach, mentor and communicate with individuals across a broad range of education, experience, and functional backgrounds
• Strong background in Strategic Planning
• Very strong ability and desire to learn and apply new concepts
• The personality and desire of an influential "change agent"
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement & extensive knowledge of LEAN tools and techniques for improvement
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with all people
