Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Essential functions may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics.   • Manages Maintenance Technicians and related departmental activities; establishes performance standards; formulates staff development plans; coaches and motivates staff; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates works assignments considering employee skills and development needs.
  • Partners with Facilities, Quality, Production and Manufacturing Engineering on problem identification, trouble shooting and equipment issue resolution and repair.
  • Identifies training needs for team and line employees, conducts training; coaches and trains line employees on new maintenance processes.
  • Provides technical consultation and advice to staff and project teams.
  • Knows and enforces compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Drives and contributes to the Norris continuous improvement culture. Ensure maintenance involvement on all continuous improvement project-related equipment installs, rebuilds and repairs.
  • Maintains all necessary maintenance records and prepares required reports to monitor productivity, OEE, and preventative maintenance effectiveness to drive improvement.
  • Contracts with outside vendors for equipment maintenance and/or repairs as needed. Ensures that all contractors are trained and adheres to Norris's safety procedures/practices.
  • Maintains a clean and well-organized work area.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
  • Other duties as required.

Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

Required

Two year technical degree or Associate's degree in Business or related field.

or equivalent education and/or experience.

Preferred

Four year college or university degree in Business or related field.

Experience:

Required

Five or more years of relevant experience.

Preferred

Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
