The RVP Sales Leader will have full ownership and responsibility to develop and execute market strategies. The leader is responsible for all phases of the sales, ensuring Executives meet or exceed goals. Will provide strategic and consultative direction to support Hodges-Mace objectives.

The RVP should view its role as the franchise owner for sales in its geographic footprint. For the RVP to succeed, they must partner with other leaders in attaining the annual revenue goal.

Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day operations Account Executives, forecasting, pipeline management and achievement of regional objectives. Accountable for regional new customer acquisition and financial performance targets

  • Maintaining advanced level of products and implementation knowledge. Guide and assist Account Executives to become experts in products and services to exceed individual revenue goals

  • Assisting regional team, joining advanced-stage sales meetings assisting with closing business partnerships

  • Recruiting and developing prospective sales professionals to ensure full territory coverage throughout the year. Provide resources for future growth opportunities within the territory

  • Coordinating and partnering with internal departments to include legal, finance, client management, marketing, HR and technology

  • Providing leadership in developing training programs for regional sales teams. Identify and communicate training and development needs for existing sales team members

  • Monitoring and tracking Account Executives; clearly communicating and executing individual development and exceed individual goals

  • Conducting weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings as necessary, to meet objectives


Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales and consultation experience. 5 years of previous sales team leadership in large account environments

  • Understand benefits, HCM or SaaS based selling, financial acumen, and cross-organizational collaboration

  • Demonstrate ability to lead and develop field Account Executives

  • Develop and maintain an effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders

  • Able to motivate teams. Think on your feet under pressure, have honest and difficult conversations with team members

  • Have industry knowledge of employer benefits and benefits administration. Accurate forecasting knowledge and pipeline guidance

  • Experience with large account sales defined as 1000 EEs and above. Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM

  • Possess a higher level of education or equivalent experience

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate's experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $166,500.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $264,300.00/year (for full-time employees).
