Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Program Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our global chemical manufacturing facilities. The position will be based out of Sugar Land, TX and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the maintenance program, focusing on life cycle management, mechanical integrity, predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance, mean time between failure (MTBF), root cause analysis, and vibration analysis.

What You Will Do:

  • Develops and implements a comprehensive maintenance reliability program for our global chemical manufacturing facilities and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Oversees the life cycle management of all maintenance activities, from planning and scheduling to execution and verification.
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams to assess and prioritize maintenance needs, ensuring equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Designs and implements mechanical integrity strategies to prevent equipment failures and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Utilizes predictive maintenance techniques, such as vibration analysis, to identify potential issues and proactively address them before they lead to equipment downtime or failures.
  • Plans and executes preventative maintenance programs, including routine inspections, lubrication schedules, and equipment testing to optimize equipment performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Conducts root cause analysis investigations to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures or malfunctions and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborates with procurement and sourcing teams to ensure the availability of spare parts and materials required for maintenance activities.
  • Monitors and analyzes maintenance metrics, such as mean time between failure (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR), to drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes and performance.
  • Fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning within the maintenance team.

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Immigration Sponsorship is not offered for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 7 years of related experience.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Program Manager in a global chemical manufacturing or similar industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of life cycle management, mechanical integrity, predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance, mean time between failure (MTBF), root cause analysis, and vibration analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify, prioritize, and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
