Position Description: Assist with facilitating shop operations and asset management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Ability to operate and navigate trucks and trailers to facilitate shop operations

* Schedule daily pick-ups and deliveries. Pre-Plan routes for logistical efficiency and safety.

* Stock, organize, and rearrange tools and equipment in shop and yard

* Maintain fleet, refueling, and registration as needed

* Perform required inspections of equipment in yard

* Lead keeping records of inventory up to date within asset management software

* Document condition of assets upon delivery and pick-up

* Assist in periodic audits of assets

* Propose other areas to grow and expand the material and equipment services of the shop

* Complete and submit all daily-required shop related documents and reports

* Conduct pre-task plans daily

* Identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and or property damage

* Ensure security of property

* Maintain the physical condition of the shop and perform regular maintenance. Keep shop premises neat and clean.

* Operate equipment such as forklifts, backhoe, skid steer, excavator, and aerial lifts

* Obtain and maintain training/licensing for equipment used and/or supplied by the shop

* Assist with overall site safety and quality programs as required (including daily participation in Pre-Task Plans) and ensure Trade employees/subcontractors compliance with Turner standards and all applicable safety codes, regulations, and jobsite security

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* Inspect all tools and power tools before use to ensure they are in safe and working condition

* Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees

* Display a high level of teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations

* Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

* Minimum six (6) months of warehouse, shop, or other related experience

* Must be able to comprehend safety instructions and signage, communicate effectively in emergency situations, and understand written safety instructions from tool and equipment manufacturers

* Clear verbal communication skills, active listening skills, and ability to ask clarifying questions and follow through on assignments

* Ability to travel and accommodate night and weekend work as needed

* Valid Driver's License is required.

* Must be able to meet the criteria of a DOT commercial driver who operates a commercial vehicle with a gross weight of over 10,001 lbs but does not need to be a CDL driver.
