The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Professor to serve as the Division Head for the Division of Advanced General Pediatrics and Primary Care. The Division Head in the Division of Advanced General Pediatrics is responsible for leading all clinical care, research endeavors, educational efforts, advocacy and administrative aspects of the Division's work. As the leader of the division, the Division Head serves a critical role in setting and executing upon the division's strategic goals in the clinical, research, education and advocacy domains. We are seeking applicants with interest and robust experience in population health research, patient reported outcome measurement, or quality of care research.

Qualified candidates will need to be Board certified in Pediatrics and have formal post-graduate training in Health Services Research. Applicants should have evidence of nationally recognized scholarly productivity and clinical experience. The ideal candidate will have a history of programmatic extramural funding. Fellowship training in general academic pediatrics and/or a masters level degree is preferred.

This position may be on a tenure track; rank and tenure status to be commensurate with experience and track record. Candidates should have an interest in faculty and fellow mentorship, as a key responsibility is to support division members' career growth and development. This individual will act as the representative in interactions with Department leadership, hospital administration, external groups and philanthropic donors. The individual in this role is responsible for oversight of divisional operational, philanthropic and grant funding in partnership with the Division Administrator.
