Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to focus on delivering Operations Due Diligence within Crowe's Operational Transaction Advisory group. We lead our clients through the analysis and execution of M&A transactions (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, & integrations).

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Working on pre- and post-deal engagements, including merger integration & carve-outs, operational due diligence, and performance improvement.

  • Leverage your previous manufacturing leadership experience, analysis, and problem-solving skills to identify critical synergies and deal with risks, then translate that analysis into insights and actions.

  • Advise clients on how to maximize opportunities and minimize risks related to mergers and acquisitions and provide recommendations in the context of deal structuring alternatives.

  • Manage and work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity related to due diligence and consulting for business owners, private equity groups, search funds, and family offices.

  • Develop detailed reports and perform complex analyses, including the analysis of cash flows, quality of assets and earnings, working capital, potential liabilities and risks, and the impact of findings on the purchase price of the target organization.

  • Communicate professionally, including creating executive-level deliverables to support client decision-makers.

  • Deliver results in a highly visible role on-site at our clients, across the US, and possibly internationally.

  • Ensure that "best practices" are developed and used within the Transaction Group, including policies, processes, and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related business degree.

  • CPA or equivalent preferred.

  • Five (5) years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations management, an Attest, or Transaction Advisory practice within a national/regional public accounting or consulting firm including planning and scheduling, lean/continuous improvement, and production management.

  • Ability to make detailed assessments of manufacturing operations and implement improvements, specifically for productivity increase and operating cost reduction.

  • Excellent knowledge of financial reporting principles affecting M&A activities.

  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

  • Experience serving business owners, private equity groups, family offices, and individual investors.

  • Strong business development mindset, relationship management skills, and the ability to influence/negotiate deals.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to creatively solve problems and analyze client data.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as evidenced by the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and business impacts to diverse audiences, including executives.

  • Adaptable, assertive, and open to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%, a majority of the work will be at client sites).

The ideal candidate will be based in Boston, Chicago, New York, Dallas, or Atlanta; other locations with major airports will be considered.

Advisory Services (AS) provides transaction support, bankruptcy and restructuring advisory, valuation, corporate finance advisory, litigation, dispute resolution consulting, and forensic investigation services. AS provides strategic vision and training to Crowe International's Global Corporate Advisors (GCA), comprised of corporate finance professionals from independent Crowe Global member firms. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $79,796.00 to $157,579.00 per year.
