Overview

The Human Resources Technology team is looking for an HR Reporting & Analytics Analyst to join our team in Ramsey NJ on a full time basis. This position is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to provide insights that support business decisions. The incumbent of this role will create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders. Provide data reliability and trustworthiness of the HRIS data set for all HR and cross-functional uses. Drive increased productivity, reliability and efficiency across the HR Technology landscape. A subject matter expert to cross-functional projects, owner of the reporting user experience for all stakeholders. Active engagement and understanding of integration tools and support for operational excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Awareness of the reporting capabilities and ecosystem in the marketplace with keen understanding of change impact and functionality needs of core user base

  • Provide technology services to HR and Management base on utilization of data for specific analyses, confidence in using tools

  • Team member on complex, cross-functional applications and implementations, where reporting, data and HR processes are key

  • Evaluation and understanding of SuccessFactors system configuration options/functionality for reporting

  • Understand and evolve the analysis of both data and process for the HR Technology stack

  • Awareness of data transformation within integrations with non-HR systems to deliver a best-in-class solutions and trusted source of the meaning or definition of data.

  • Trusted data partner to HR management, including data integrity, security, auditability, and scalability

  • Engages with 3rd party vendor resources to achieve goals, including new feature implementations

  • Partners with leadership / key stakeholders for change management initiatives to ensure successful launch and adoption analytic solutions

  • Understand and assess the HR Reporting ecosystem for value added capabilities

  • Contribute to the HR Technology strategic vision by understanding constituent needs and system capabilities.

  • Direct the business process analysis, creation of business requirements documents, and testing for projects and all system changes supporting system capabilities with reporting and analytics


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with a preference to an additional business degree.

  • 3+ years' experience in similar role required

  • Involvement in projects for data exchange for Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and Integration Center (IC) is preferred

  • Minimum 3 years experience working on a high performing HRIS team or equivalent HRIS consulting.

  • Minimum 3 years cross functional reporting/analytics service

  • Leading level proficiency in SuccessFactors across the reporting suite (Ad hoc, Tile, Dashboard, Canvas, Report Stories) a plus. Learning Management reporting is a plus.
  • Familiarity ADP Payroll, ICIMS and other HR systems a plus.

  • Additional knowledge with Looker, BigQuery, Tableau a plus.

  • SuccessFactors knowledge a plus.
  • Utilize flexible leadership style to interact effectively team members of varying technical savviness.

  • A demonstrated ability to utilize sophisticated reporting and analytics skills

  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences

  • Understand the implications of system design and data delivery on business decisions and outcomes within the limits of HR data availability

  • Work effectively on a cross functional basis.

  • Collaborate up and down organization to support a data-driven decision-making style

  • Active listening and understanding of customer perspectives with an empathetic and supportive mindset.

  • Operationalize long term strategic goals into actionable plans that are successfully delivered.

  • Demonstrated ability to try new things, fail fast and internalize learnings leading to best in class solutions.

  • Ability to quickly understand and absorb new applications, features and systems.

  • Consider and applying new perspectives.

  • High ownership and accountability of solution delivery.

  • Ability to use data storytelling to guide and persuade decision making across the organization.

  • SAP Analytics Cloud Platform experience a plus.
