Job Description

As a Power Marketing & Commercial Analyst in Houston, Chicago or Denver, you will report to Vice President, Power Marketing and work as a supporting key member of the Power Marketing team within the Utility-Scale and Corporate Renewable Development Business in the U.S. You will support commercial offtake and project marketing efforts to customers for the ENGIE's project portfolio of wind, solar and battery storage projects. Additionally, you will support in assessing and contributing to the project acquisition efforts & market strategy of the Commercial Strategy Team.

  • Manage Request For Proposal process in response to a high-volume of simultaneous Request For Proposals to commercial and/or utility customers as well as working cross-functionally with development and financial teams in support of the bids & strategy
  • Manage and continually update ENGIE CRM for opportunities
  • Generate reports for organization reviews and strategy sessions
  • Oversee and communicate organization pipeline to internal decision-makers
  • Liaise with finance team on project economics and financial modeling
  • Support the Commercial Strategy team on evaluating project acquisition targets & market strategy development
  • Create and maintain ENGIE proposals and external marketing materials provided to customers

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in which you completed courses in finance, economics, mathematics, science, engineering or similar technical or analytics based program
  • A minimum of two years of energy market industry experience
  • Outstanding analytical skills and demonstrated expertise in utilizing detailed, Excel-based, financial models
  • Commercial acumen addition to deep in analytic and/or technical capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM, Salesforce and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment
  • Superb writing capabilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Capability to collaborate across departments within the company and with external customers

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE's policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • Could involve some lifting

Compensation

Salary Range: $62,400 - $95,450 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
