Strategy Execution and Leadership

  • Creates a compelling vision and strategy for the RMO that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives and lead-s the resource management team to identify, implement and deploy evolving digital tools that help accelerate the firm's digital transformation strategy
  • Liaise with senior business stakeholders to align on Enterprise and Line of Business strategy and investments.
  • Partners closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, External Workforce Office, Finance, Project and Operations manager on resource forecasting.
  • Implements processes and innovative solutions designed for efficiencies and to improve resource management delivery, resource planning and forecasting.
  • Designs, implements, and monitors the progress of key resource management performance objectives and indicators to assure alignment to strategy.
  • Represent the resource management organization in firm innovation initiatives.
  • Develop and oversee strategic vendor partnerships.

    Advance technology solutions oversight and governance

  • Establish and have responsibility for an integrated resource management infrastructure and process including, and not limited to, request intake, scoping and vetting, approvals and prioritization of development resources and activity (either directly or through matrixed resource management) and initiative delivery, change control processes, system security, deployment and ROI tracking.
  • Manage the collective, integrated resource management technology roadmap.
  • Prepare agenda and content for, IT Governance, Steering or Innovation Committees; participates as appropriate.
  • Assess situations quickly and precisely to determine priorities, focus areas and issues requiring escalation.
  • Talent platform and delivery systems - collaborating with IT Business Relationship Liaison and others to:
  • Develop short term and long-term strategic technology roadmaps, drive business cases for specific initiatives and harvest benefits of those initiatives
  • Lead roadmap development for core resource management platforms and enhancement and/or integrations with key functional systems
  • Partner with IT and appropriate firm leadership to develop business requirements for new technology solutions or enhancements of current technology.
  • Oversee all resource management technology system upgrades including scoping of upgrade releases, identifying business solutions for talent areas, collaborating with firm leadership on identification and integration of upgrade enhancements, and testing of upgrades.
  • Collaborate with firm leaders on change management, product adoption and training of new technologies or upgrades of existing talent technology.
  • Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders on all integrations needed including technology solutions, other technology platforms and vendor interfaces.
  • Continuous Performance Improvement Leadership

  • Perform cross-department consultations to identify where operational performance can be improved.
  • Maintain effective communication with all teams to track the progress of the performance improvement initiatives.
  • Review performance results and adapt performance improvement tactics accordingly.
  • Create data insights and other internal and external data reporting systems to help various audiences both visualize and analyze performance data.
  • Keep up to date on the latest performance improvement theories and best practices.
  • Team Leadership and Management

  • Builds and leads a highly effective, innovative, and collaborative resource management team.
  • Assess team and individuals' skills, identify development needs, and provide feedback and support to improve practice, build capacity, and maximize talent.
  • Provide supervision, mentoring, and professional development opportunities that help all RMO talent grow and prepare for assessments aligned to their ability to continually improve.

Compensation Range: $209,300 - $370,700
