Molex is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Financial Systems team in Lisle, IL. This role reports directly to our Financial Systems Leader and will serve as the primary interface between Finance and IT functions. The focus of this role is to successfully deliver financial solutions by building business partnerships and soliciting, understanding and documenting business requirements for system enhancements. This role will also participate in the design, testing and deployment of approved solutions.

The successful candidate will need to be a skilled relationship builder with the ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment. They will be able to understand processes and proactively partner with stakeholders to translate their needs into results. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded understanding of financials systems or a technical background and be a good problem solver.

What You Will Do

  • Become a trusted business partner and main point of contact for financial systems.
  • Engage in problem solving activities to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Manage end to end work that is aligned with the overall Finance Capability strategy and vision.
  • Gather and analyze internal business requirements for system enhancements.
  • Identify and communicate alternative solutions, risks and issues impacting solution design and implementation.
  • Collaborate with IT and the Finance Product Owners on solution design, testing and solution deployment.
  • Provide documentation, training, end user support and change management activities on implemented solutions.
  • Assist with determining the appropriate prioritization of solutions.
  • Collaborate with the financial systems team to support project delivery and implementation tasks.
  • Seek and share knowledge; challenge the status quo and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Gain proficiency in navigating and understanding financial systems, processes and requirements as used by the Finance Capabilities.
  • Advance the Principle-Based Management (PBM) culture by applying and reinforcing the company's Guiding Principles

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or IT related field
  • Experience with finance functions, accounting concepts, financial consolidations or internal controls
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP system
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

  • MBA or Master's degree in Accounting, Information Technology or related field
