JUNIOR STRATEGIC ANALYST -  (REMOTE FIRST OPPORTUNITY)


Our one-of-a-kind healthcare strategy and marketing firm has an excellent opportunity for a Strategic Analyst - a strategic practitioner with a solid understanding of their client’s business - who can use critical thinking to distill research and data analytics into meaningful insights and strategic recommendations.
 
THE POSITION
 
The successful candidate will:
  • Utilize analytical skills to rapidly synthesize large quantities of information, bring forward critical observations, and ensure that strategic conclusions are grounded in data
  • Structure and conduct primary and secondary research projects in support of client objectives and strategy
  • Source data creatively to fulfill project/analytical objectives and generate client-ready deliverables
  • Translate findings into insights that form a complete and compelling story
  • Participate in client meetings as needed, including presentation of developed strategic deliverables
  • Maintain flexibility and adapt quickly in response to changing project specifications
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, helping translate scientific/clinical implications to non-technical audiences both to internal copy/creative team and to external clients
  • Assist in development of persuasive, profitable proposals and estimates with clearly articulated, compelling background information, research objectives, and methodology recommendations and rationale
  • Effectively manage project workload through efficient project planning and/or delegation to direct reports
  • Maintain high level of proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel, including serving as internal consultant for agency staff as needed
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT


Hybrid working environment: performed in remote and office setting as duties require.

THE PERSON

We are looking for a candidate who is smart, creative, and able to see the “big picture” to elicit impactful key insights, while maintaining Purohit Navigation’s reputation for attention to detail and quality. The successful candidate will have:
 
  • An advanced degree in biomedical sciences (PhD preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience in data analytics, clinical data analysis and/or primary/secondary research
  • Comfort working with multiple sources of data as well as high volume of clinical/technical information
  • Experience communicating complex scientific and clinical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
  • The ability to prioritize and focus time effectively to meet multiple client-driven objectives
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to evolving assignments and needs within the organization
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of highly collaborative, multidisciplinary teams as needed
  • Experience conducting, analyzing, and reporting on qualitative, quantitative, and secondary research in support of strategy development
  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience a plus
  • Forecasting and revenue modeling experience a plus
