Position Highlights:

• Position: Physician Assistant, Orthopedics/Inpatient
• Location: Skokie Hospital, Skokie, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem, as needed.
• Hours: Rotating weekday, weekend, and night shifts
• Required Travel: N/A

What you will do:

• Provide comprehensive health care services under the direction and supervision of an assigned physician.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients specific to their area of expertise.
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
• Perform independent evaluation and treatment procedures in emergency situations in accordance with policies established

What you will need:

• License:Current Physician Assistant License in the State of Illinois required. DEA & Illinois Controlled Substance License required.
• Education:Bachelor degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Certification:CPR certification required
• Experience:One year of Physician Assistant experience preferred. Ortho experience a plus.
