Your Role at Baxter:

The Transfer Pricing Manager will play a crucial role in the success of Baxter's transfer pricing operation. The ideal candidate should have a passion for transfer pricing, strong analytical skills, and enjoy new challenges and a collegial team environment. What You'll Be Doing:

  • As a key position within the transfer pricing function, oversee all aspects of transfer pricing, annual process, pricing request, and transfer pricing adjustment.
  • Assist with the legal entity forecasting process working with regional and corporate finance teams.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor procedures to gather in a cost-effective manner information required for profitability analysis which accommodates changes in company operations.
  • Manage global transfer pricing compliance by external consultants to ensure compliance with local laws and transfer pricing policies ensuring timely submission of all global reports, including country-by-country reports.
  • Lead process improvements to meet or exceed best-practice standards.
  • Monitor actual and proposed changes to transfer pricing rules and implement required changes in the company Transfer Pricing Policy and reporting procedures.
  • Work with Director, Transfer Pricing in drafting and delivering transfer pricing planning and documentation reports, maintaining intercompany legal agreements.
  • Assist Director, Transfer Pricing with the analysis of transfer pricing aspects associated with business initiatives, expansion, and transactions.
  • Work with others in the tax department in monitoring the application of the Base Erosion and Anti-Abuse Tax (BEAT) rules.
  • Conduct tax research and transfer pricing issues on complex projects as assigned to assess the effect of Section 482, BEPs, and OECD requirements.
  • Provide support to regional tax leads and local finance in performing financial/economic analyses and building financial valuation models.
  • Develop performance goals and provide technical and behavioral feedback to a tax professional.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related field,
  • MST/ CPA a plus
  • 5+ years of transfer pricing experience in public accounting, equivalent consulting or industry experience
  • Knowledge of the global transfer pricing regulations, including U.S. regulations.
  • Experience with financial software such as JD Edwards and HFM or equivalent
  • Experience with billing software such as Blackline and Concur or equivalent.
  • Experience with OneSource tax software preferred.
  • Experience with Alteryx and Tableau a bonus.
  • Advance Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 to $143,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
