Overview

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Production Print Technical Consultant - Dealer!

The responsibility of the Production Print Technical Consultant (PPTC) is to be the expert on the full line of KMBS production and industrial print hardware and solutions products. The PPTC will work with dealers and their customers to provide customer workflow assessments and demonstrations, solution design, configuration, and development. This includes the creation of statements of work and initial workflow setup as required.

The PPTC will be responsible for driving hardware and software solutions, professional services and assist with the sales of KM print production and industrial hardware. PPTC will support a regional team of Production Print Specialists' to handle all technical aspects associated with Production and Industrial Printing sales including, configurations, troubleshooting, dealer and end user training, etc.


Responsibilities

* Make recommendations for upselling and additional 3rd party finishing items and software solutions.

* Contributes to the achievement of production and industrial print and solutions revenue and unit goals and objectives.

* Responsible for pre and post sales account opportunity assessment, professional services, and software solution expansion.

* Demonstrates the customer solution value through proof of concepts.

* Analyzes customer business requirements and processes.

* Assist in developing dealer/dealer customer solutions recommendations and proposals.

* Contributes to the development of new techniques, models, and plans to help grow the production and industrial print business.

* Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets within assigned territory.

* Develop and implement training curriculums based on current needs for dealers and dealer customers.

* Assist in proposal preparation with Dealers Production Print Specialists.


Qualifications

* Minimum 5+ years related experience working with KM production/industrial print or equivalent desirable.

* A technical understanding of end-to-end production and industrial printing workflows is essential.

* Ability to create and communicate KM's value propositions, differentiation and solutions benefits internally and externally.

* Capable of multitasking within a fast-paced demanding environment.

* Ability to sit or stand for long period of time in support of travel or customer meetings/presentations/events
* Travel in assigned region (Estimated 30-50%)

* Knowledge of Dealer Channel

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.

Salary Range: $85,400 - $142,400
