Position Summary

We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Account Manager that thrives in a fast-paced sales cycle environment. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, maintaining, and growing current business, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.

This role reports to the Inside Sales Manager and is based in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cultivating relationships with and driving new business through the Pregis distributor network
  • Effective retention of the established book of business by facilitating positive, growth-oriented relationships, sales strategy development, and using internal tools to monitor business.
  • The critical focus is on building and maintaining relationships while driving new business development within an established territory as well as maximizing sales volume growth consistent with overall business profit margin performance while emphasizing the Pregis product lines as a competitive value-added advantage to our customers.
  • Actively monitoring the margin of current business to improve profitability of the overall region.
  • Working closely with Pregis team members, including field team, customer service, regional plants, pricing team, etc.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

Experience

  • Proven inside sales or account management experience. 1-3 years
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong listening and presentation skills via phone and video conference
  • Experience working with Cloud for Customer or similar CRM and SAP
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
