Your areas of responsibility:
  • Assist with Customer returns; BOL creations; scheduling pickups
  • Resolve "in transit" issues such as:
    • Incorrect carrier, terms, product, location
    • Refusals
    • Missing freight
    • Redirects or service standard change
  • Primary OS&D (overage/shorts/damage) contact with Managed Transportation Provider (Echo)/carriers, and coordination with customer service and shipping
  • Primary contact with managed transportation provider (Echo) for TMS exceptions
  • Assist with freight invoice/reconcilliation issues & cargo claims
  • Maintain license/registration on Fuchs transportation fleet (annual)
  • Info record maintenance and assist with Purchasing records (ensuring accurate Transportation costs are being maintained for Inbound raw materials procurement in the system)
  • Work with sales leadership, demand planners and key customers to understand demand on Shock Absorber Fluids (SAF) and to fulfill orders through monitoring inventory onsite, railcars and their movements, and bulk truck transit to support our OTIF strategy.
  • Work with sales and planning team to understand bulk oils/ fluids customer requirements and help with providing input to planners, logistics, operations, and sales to fulfill the demand of customers by location.
  • Support leadership with strategic / tactical logistics projects as needed
Qualifications we are looking for:
  • Background in logistics and distribution
  • High school or GED equivalent required. Bachelors degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field a plus.
  • Advanced computer skills including Excel and Word including the ability to analyze data and organize the information for expeditious decision making.
  • Experience handling claim administration and adjudication
