Description and Requirements

Responsible for Environmental protection, safety, industrial hygiene, medical and health implementation program within the company under the guidance of the Corporate OHS missions, principles and practices, local governmental environmental, safety and health laws and regulations, and management standards as well as for the housekeeping of the site.

What you'll do:

  • Commit to implementing the Corporate OHS Missions, Principles and Practices
  • Maintain the ISO14001 & ISO45001 system and ensure the continuous improvement process of the environmental Protection and OHS on the site.
  • Manage the OHS program within the company and is responsible for compliance with all applicable governmental, corporate and management company OHS standards
  • Conduct site surveys and audits and advises responsible line management of condition requiring corrective actions
  • Ensure that all applicable internal and external reporting requirements are performed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Establishes and maintain necessary contacts with OHS regulatory agencies and professional societies, to ensure the highest level of assistance and service for the site
  • Maintain all required records in accordance with regulatory and Corporate and Division requirements
  • Remain current in all applicable OHS standards
  • Review all projects, including acquisitions, divestitures and construction, for the OHS Issues

Saff Management:

  • Participates actively in the management of the site to establish local policies and directions that achieve leadership in OHS
  • Responsible for continuing education and professional development of the OHS staff
  • Responsible for training the coordinator and for communication to all employees
Job Requirements:

*Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience
*5+ years experience in OHS position
*Experience with accident investigation and safety audit programs for manufacturing
*Experience in security protocols and management
*Strong Environmental Protection, Safety, Industrial hygiene, Medical and Health Standards knowledge
*Strong ISO14001 and ISO45001 system knowledge
*Knowledge of Federal, state, and local laws/regulations/requirements related to Health, Safety and Security
*PC literate, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

*ISO/OSHA certifications
*RBA certification
*Good team-building and organizational abilities
*Comfortable in high technology, multi-shift, manufacturing environment
*Proven management and supervisory abilities
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
