As the Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest region, you will develop and execute growth strategies and ales plan execution for the Josam family of brands within the assigned region to further penetrate the Plumbing, Drainage and Waterworks channels with emphasis in the Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Municipal market segments. You will deliver sales objectives including top line, margin, and share growth. This is a remote role with minimum travel of 50% and reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing.

You Will:
  • Participate in the creation of the annual orders and sales plan, quarterly forecasts, and execute plans to meet the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) targets through strategic account planning.
  • Manage Josam independent sales representatives in a defined territory.
  • Develop and implement annual sales strategies, goals, and quotas for the territory - by product category.
  • Build awareness and grow market share of all relevant Josam's products by ensuring territory reps and customers are sufficiently knowledgeable and trained on products and procedures.
  • Identify, build, and maintain relationships and growth opportunities with targeted engineers, contractors, and distributors.
  • Implement sales actions of the Josam's drainage product lines strategic plan and launch all new products.
You Have:
  • Minimum 8 years of successful experience in sales or independent sales representative management with cross channel/business experience with a technical background
  • A working knowledge of the applicable industry; plumbing, construction, or safety
  • Experience developing and executing a sales strategy, targeting large, multi-year accounts, and short cycle sales to small and medium sized organizations.
  • Success in implementing and leveraging CRM systems to grow existing accounts/relationships and to develop new customers.
  • Based in one of the following states: Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Ohio, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kentucky, Wisconsin, West Virginia, North and South Dakota, Pittsburgh, Michigan, Missouri.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
