Position Title: Grinder/Machinist

Wage: $20.00 - $22.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm

Grinder/Machinist Responsibilities:
- Read and understand product drawings
- Understand and prioritize production orders to meet daily requirements
- Set up and operate machines and equipment required to run production
- Obtain acceptable first pieces by setting up machines and submitting them for proper approval
- Review and verify first pieces from other machines to ensure conformance quality
- Assist Production Manager in meeting customer requirements
- Support continuous availability of components for assembly operation
- Support equipment maintenance as planned

Requirements for Grinder/Machinist:
- High School Diploma / GED OR good reading, writing, and communication skills with ability to read and interpret product drawings and bills of materials
- Experience in production operations including CNC machining, general machining, polishing or assembly; machining certification a plus
- Understanding of metric system a plus
- Experience running a Studer a plus
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
