Job Description
Summary

Primary responsibility is the recruitment of graduate students to Saint Xavier University. Manage an assigned inquiry and applicant pool using various forms of outreach to encourage application and enrollment at SXU. Provide high quality student service to prospective students. Collaborate in the execution of a comprehensive graduate student recruitment and communication plan, including recruitment events like virtual information sessions, on-campus open houses, and more. Work closely with program directors, deans, and our University marketing team to grow graduate enrollment and drive incremental net tuition revenue. Build quality relationships with Saint Xavier faculty and staff as well as external constituents.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned graduate student inquiry and applicant pool.
  • Correspond with prospective students via direct mail, email and phone.
  • Conduct virtual and on-campus information sessions and individual appointments.
  • Leverage the University's customer relationship management system (CRM), called Slate, to perform email and text outreach and log phone and other communications.
  • Review applications in accordance with the graduate application review process.
  • Assist in planning and managing recruitment events, including virtual and on-campus opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with deans, program directors, University marketing team and other constituents to execute a cohesive program recruitment and enrollment plan.
  • Build quality internal and external relationships to support our efforts to grow graduate enrollment and net tuition revenue.
  • The position may represent the University at external events.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree is highly desirable.
  • College admission experience, sales experience, a strong business acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit, and experience working in a goal-oriented environment are highly preferred.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills required.
  • Excellent technical/computer skills required including Microsoft suite, database systems, etc.
  • Experience using a customer relationship management system, like Slate, is a plus.
  • A mindset for marketing and promotion is very valuable.
  • Access to an automobile, valid driver's license, and ability to travel locally.
  • Commitment to teamwork is essential, and the ability to build quality relationships with internal and external constituencies is necessary to be successful.

Description of Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, with occasional evening or weekend work as required to assist with recruitment events
