Overview

The Bilingual Corporate Staffing Recruiter will support AIT leaders and teammates by partnering to fill permanent and temporary staffing needs. This individual is responsible for owning staffing agency partnerships throughout America while also recruiting for permanent positions within the US and Mexico. As we continue to expand our needs as an organization we need someone with a passion for people and the organization to lead our temporary staffing while supporting permanent hiring as well.

Responsibilities
    Be the primary point of contact and owner of communication between all AIT-approved temporary staffing agencies and hiring managers to effectively coordinate and manage the placement of temporary employees across AIT Americas as required, utilizing our applicant tracking system (ATS) platform.
  • Responsible for full-lifecycle recruitment for positions ranging from logistics, operations, management, technical, corporate and sales roles. Primary focus will be logistics specific roles and positions opened in Mexico.
  • Work daily to drive a positive candidate and hiring manager experience through AIT's recruitment process.
  • Proactively research the market, create search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent, and build and maintain a network of potential candidates through on-going relationship management.
  • Source passive talent utilizing AIT's applicant tracking system and additional resources to identify A-players.
  • Partner with AIT's Compliance and Safety teams to ensure compliance of temporary employees while working with leaders to convert temporary staff.
  • Stay up to date on industry hiring trends and temporary laws coming into place
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and language proficiency to ensure they meet AIT's hiring standards and requirements.
  • Audit and reconcile number of hours worked compared to the invoice for all temp staff
  • Source, secure and finalize new national temporary staffing agreements, when necessary, to ensure an appropriate pipeline of a temporary workforce
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
Qualifications

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • 5+ years of temporary staffing experience Required and
  • 3+ years of permanent recruitment experience within a corporate setting Preferred
  • 1+ years Experience recruiting in the freight forwarding industry Preferred
  • 1+ years Xxperience with iCIMS ATS Preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with exceptional written and oral communication skills in both languages. (High proficiency)
  • Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite applications (High proficiency)
  • Ability to sell - need to tell the AIT story and engage candidates in seeing what a great place we are to work. (High proficiency)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively in a dynamic environment. (High proficiency)
  • Proven flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and different requisitions, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with various people leaders across the organization. (High proficiency)
  • Demonstrated commitment to assuming full accountability and ownership for all assigned responsibilities and tasks. (High proficiency)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information (High proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR)-AIRS Preferred
