What You Will Do:

  • Develop prototypes, test plans, and validate new product offerings through in-house and/or external testing. Includes assisting with field trials, product release and post launch support.

  • Create / maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of parts and assemblies.

  • Assist operations by troubleshooting design related issues, validating, and managing engineering design change requests on new and existing products.

  • Conduct feasibility studies, determine manpower, time and cost estimates, and develop engineering criteria.

  • Schedule and coordinate projects to meet cost and time objectives.

  • Complete required documentation, reports, and presentations

  • Work independently and within a team environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

  • 5 years engineering experience.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience in 3D modeling and 2D drawings using Solidworks.

  • Self-motivated and able to communicate effectively with peers.

  • Work more than 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, as required to meet business needs.

  • Work in an unsupervised environment

  • Must have a strong desire to learn and solve problems.

  • Read, write, and speak English fluently.

  • Visual Acuity - Required to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer monitor, determining the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
