Description

Job Title: Operation/Production Intern (Summer)
Location: Montgomery, IL
Hours: 7am - 3:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Identify operational weaknesses and offer improvement suggestions.
  • Conduct a waste study in OW/CBC Raw departments and offer suggestions to minimize waste (including creating a cost savings analysis)
  • Manage a time study concerning machine turnover
  • Record and report product diameters and lengths
  • Working closely with the Manager and/or assigned staff member to complete allocated tasks
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and maintain project deadlines
  • Other duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis

  • Currently enrolled in one of the following curriculums in college: Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Food Industry Management, Operations Management, or other similar undergraduate field.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Working Condition and Physical Requirements:

  • Office work, however, plant work will require warmer attire.
