Summary

Starting Pay: $18.00

Shift: 2nd

  • Extrusion Operators are responsible for the safe operation of plastic extrusion equipment to produce quality product by continual adjustments of gauges that control extruder speed, temperatures, pressures, and winder speeds while also focusing on safety and efficiency.
Job Description
  • Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
  • Produce orders to schedule in order to satisfy customer needs and production requirements.
  • Perform production execution of product labeling and production entry.
  • Complete all required Quality inspections, testing, and documentation.
  • Comply with Company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance.
  • Perform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED

Requirements:

  • 1- 3 years' experience as a machine operator with knowledge of process equipment, tooling and procedures in order to set up, operate, and maintain equipment work area in a safe, productive manner
  • Basic math, reading, computer, and analytical skills.
  • High awareness towards safety and ability to analyze and solve production facility problems.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently.
  • Able to work overtime and on weekends.
