Sales Liaison

To provide support to the North American Sales Manager or VP of sales and the Sales department. This position will learn all aspects of OEM machine sales. Our goal is to grow this position into a sales position for the future. You will learn sales tactics, management and even learn how many of the machine's work.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Acts as liaison between company sales staff and dealers to assist in the process of completing sales orders.

• Perform work directly related to assist in the running of the business operations of the division. Uses independent judgment in making recommendations involving comparing and evaluating possible courses of action regarding machines and customers.
• Support sales network as a dealer liaison for pricing, inventory, order status inquiries, order processing and assisting in annual dealer evaluations

• Preparation of reports pertaining but not limited to Salesforce forecasting, inventory ordering, sales history, and market analysis

• Social media posts, Machine Proposal edits, Product Presentation Updates
• Trade show / event planning and participation
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field helpful but not mandatory
• 2 years office experience.
  

WORKING CONDITIONS

Job operates mainly indoors and is exposed to generally consistent conditions, such as regulated air conditioning and heating. This job also works near a machinery showroom, which may generate some noises such as objects hitting the floor and creating a sound, forklift movement and occasional other short term noises.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Repetitive use of the hands and typing are required. Requires frequent lifting of 1-10 pounds and occasional 11-25 pounds with infrequent lifting of 25 or more. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
