ChampionX has an immediate need for a Regional Field Sales Representative in Odessa, TX for our Prime Pump Solutions business. In this role, you play a pivotal role in expanding our reach in the oil and gas industry. You will advocate for our innovative products and services, establish enduring customer relationships, and contribute to the company's growth by driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to promote growth and customer satisfaction within the assigned territory.
  • Engage with new and existing clients to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions from our product and service portfolio.
  • Demonstrate expertise in our Jet Lift technology and surface pump maintenance services, positioning them as premier solutions for operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, industry challenges, and competitor activity to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the company.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client needs are met promptly and accurately.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and training workshops to remain up-to-date with the latest technologies and sales tactics.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, forecasts, and client feedback to management.
  • Support the customer service team to complete the sales process and collections within their assigned accounts.

Position Details:

  • Job specific location - Odessa, Texas
  • Work schedule - Generally Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional evening calls and occasional weekends to support urgent business needs
  • Potential travel to operation and vendor sites

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in field sales
  • Must be able and willing to travel extensively within the territory
  • Strong technical acumen and a willingness to become an expert in Jet Lift technology and service pump services
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and navigate complex sales environments
  • A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to building long-term relationships
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in oil and gas field sales
