Assists with patient care, performs clerical functions and maintains and promotes a safe, clean and organized environment for the delivery of patient care.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic calculations at a level preferably acquired through completion of a high school education or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a pediatric healthcare environment preferred.

• Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.

• Interpersonal skills necessary to gather and share information with physicians, patients, visitors, families, and team members in a courteous and confidential manner.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and prioritizing skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks done simultaneously.

• Physical ability to lift and position patients weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as push and pull when performing cleaning functions.

• Frequently bends, lifts, twists, reaches, and squats.

• Occasionally push/pulls and does overhead work, including splint cart and patients in wheelchair.

20 hours Rehab Assistant position working in Pediatric Sports Medicine and Neurodevelopmental clinics in Delafield. Role involves supporting 9 physical and occupational therapists with daily tasks including scheduling, cleaning/stocking, patient care, administration, and patient calls. Ability to flex between Sports Medicine clinic and Neurodevelopmental Pediatric clinic supporting both teams. Opportunity for collaboration with broader team including therapists, patient access team, and therapy coordinators. Looking for candidates with an interest in working with a pediatric population, youth/adolescent sports knowledge desired, and additional pediatric experience potentially including coaching, teaching, mentoring.

Work schedule will be Tues/Wed/Thurs with specific hours to be mutually agreed upon in alignment with clinic and applicant's needs.
