Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities

What We're Looking For:

Iridium is seeking a talented and motivated entry-level Human Resources Operations Specialist to join the Iridium Human Resources Team. As a Human Resources Operations Specialist, you'll contribute to the team's operational functions and assist with various HR tasks. You will thrive in this role if you are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

    Collaborate with the HR team to drive excellence in HR operations and provide comprehensive support
  • Work with HR team members on various projects and tasks
  • Assist with the development of solutions and processes
  • Help with the administration of various systems
  • Support day-to-day HR activities
  • Participate in HR-related research and investigations
  • Aid in the development of policies and procedures
  • Review HR data and contribute to continuous improvement efforts and data integrity
Experience & Education Requirements / EEO

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
  • General experience in HR or a basic knowledge of HR functions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate key messages and ideas clearly and effectively
  • Can cultivate meaningful relationships with your manager and members of your team, while being open and responsive to constructive feedback as they guide and mentor you
  • The ability to think outside the box to help solve problems, with the humility to ask for help when needed
  • Adaptability to a dynamic environment and the readiness to take on any new tasks that are handed to you
  • Motivation to achieve outcomes and results
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks at once with mostly error-free completion
  • Eagerness to develop professionally, continuously learn, and share knowledge with others
  • Comfortable with HR tools and technologies

Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:

  • Previous exposure via college courses or internships to HR-related skills or technologies.

Work Environment:

This position primarily works in the company office or in a home office. The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer. The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
