Purpose of the Job |
Sr. Manufacturing Automation Engineer will be responsible for planning, specification development and design of automation equipment, process, assembly tooling, and assembly line layout for New Product Introduction (NPI) and existing processes. This role will have responsibilities for Automation development and deployment across the region of Americas across 4 sites. Ensures process design supports manufacturing of products that meet quality standards while minimizing production problems and costs. Develops semi- automated/fully automated solution for existing manual processes. Develops and maintains manufacturing line layouts for maximizing space, efficiency, and effectiveness. Ensures compliance with industry safety and design standards and guidelines. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of engineering projects. Primary Location is Aurora, IL. This role can be hybrid but will need travel. |
