POSITION SUMMARY

Body Repair Technicians with MCI will successfully repair all body and frame components on MCI coaches.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Ability to diagnose and repair all body and frame components including riveted, spot-welded and perimeter-welded parts, panels, frame members and bulkheads.
  • Must be able to remove, repair and replace parts including lights, doors, windows, glass, moldings, upholstery and any additional body accessories.
  • Welding and metal preparation.
  • Frame straightening.
  • Provide accurate repair time estimates


WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of automotive body repair experience required.
  • Must be proficient in the use of pneumatic riveter, sanders, grinders, hydraulic pullers, pressure painting equipment, standard fastener equipment, oxygen/acetylene welding, ARC, MIG and T.G. welding equipment and body filler material and fiberglass.
  • Must be able to provide own small hand tools and body repair tools required to perform body repair functions.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Pre-employment drug test and background screen required.
