Job Description

This role entails providing financial analysis and general accounting support to the finance office within Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARC) Command Headquarters, in support of remote finance offices and personnel spread across 11 Midwestern states.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

  • Conducting general ledger analysis
  • Reviewing and analyzing receipts and payables
  • Preparing monthly ARC Dashboard
  • Financial summaries and analytics

Additionally, the position involves assisting with annual budget preparations and monthly budget reviews. This role will also be required to compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for ARCs.

Other duties include analyzing insurance premiums, assessing Territorial Headquarters (THQ) reserve balances, and aiding Center bookkeepers with budget preparation, assessments, and dashboard analysis.

  • Essential duties and responsibilities include:
  • Compiling monthly ARC dashboards(Power BI), budget analysis, financial summaries, analytics, and Synopsys
  • Work with ARC Bookkeepers/Administrators on annual budget preparation
  • Review monthly budgets with ARC Bookkeepers/Administrators
  • Performing research analysis for ARCs and various departments
  • Monitoring month-end cut-off of Centers Financial Data
  • Analyzing and summarizing monthly store sales
  • Preparing Annual General Assessments for the ARCs
  • Updating and implementing financial control and security measures
  • Ensuring balance across all General Ledger and various modules
  • Informing management of any emerging challenges or problem areas
  • Providing training and support to ARC Accounting Personnel on Accounting Package/PoS System Resolution
  • Conducting online training sessions, webinars, and quarterly conference calls for bookkeepers
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual audit schedules
  • Setting up custom reports for point-of-sale systems.
  • Consulting with the Director of Finance on Consolidation matters as required
  • Supporting ARC Accounting functions when necessary
  • Assisting with ARC Bank Reconciliations when needed

A working relationship must also be established and maintained with the ARC Administrator, ARC staff, various THQ departments, and within ARC Command HQ.

SUPERVISION:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Finance.

EDUCATION:

A degree in Accounting (CPA Preferred) or five (5) years of equivalent work experience in a business field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Working knowledge of Acumatica, Microsoft Office Suite, and exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Bank Reconciliations, budget preparations and data analysis. Knowledge of ADP Vantage is also helpful.
