What You Will Do:

  • Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement process improvement plans to increase productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and reduce waste
  • Use data analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for process enhancements
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of procedures and work instructions
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new equipment and systems
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through process optimization and waste reduction.
  • Provide support in the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations.
  • Facilitate and implement LEAN manufacturing projects

Position Details:

  • Work schedule is generally M-F 8:00-5:00 (on-site)
  • Work primarily occurs in a heated and air-conditioned office environment with occasional work performed in a heated and air-conditioned manufacturing environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • This safety-sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or systems)
  • 3 years prior experience
  • Experience in 3D modeling and 2D drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to create, analyze reports, and facilitate presentations to various groups including senior leadership.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Must be a self-motivated learner and problem solver

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in data analysis and statistical analysis software
  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
