Job Description

Ecolab has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst in our Paper Division Corporate Account Finance Organization, located in Naperville, IL. The individual will be responsible for providing direct financial support to the Paper Division Corporate Account Sales team. Through this role, this position will be expected to understand the various customer programs and act as finance business partner to their assigned Corporate Account Managers (CAMs) and AVP of Corporate Accounts, within the Paper Division. This position help drive sales growth and safeguard the profitability of the business. This includes working on upfront deal making, ongoing account profit improvement projects, and price adjustments. This position will work closely with legal, marketing, sales operations, and other internal departments as needed to support the corporate account sales teams. They will also be responsible for monitoring financial provisions in the completed agreements, ad-hoc reporting, and projects as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Work directly with Corporate Account Managers, District Managers, Corporate Account AVPs, legal, and marketing to provide financial support in the areas of deal analysis and contract negotiation, proforma P&L's, profit management, pricing strategy and execution, contract management and rebate analysis
  • Support the Corporate Account team with development and execution of best practices and drive process improvements
  • Advanced financial modeling and analysis with large data sets
  • Drive pricing analysis for Corporate Accounts including contractual adjustments, hardship support, negotiation strategy, etc.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to internal and external customers as needed
  • Partner on special projects to support the business and functions (Marketing, Sales, FP&A)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 4 years of finance or accounting experience
  • 2 years corporate/operational finance or strategy consulting experience
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact across multiple levels of management
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity; able to self-manage well; highly accountable
  • Results oriented; proactive; and possesses a high level of integrity
  • Knowledge of SAP and Access
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Prior experience working with financial data and financial reporting systems
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and Power Point
