In the Analyst Relations role you will have a deep understanding of Cloudera's business including hybrid cloud, AI and database solutions and a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with top-tier analysts from firms such as Gartner and Forrester. You will play a critical role in shaping our company's reputation and positioning in the market by effectively engaging with industry analysts and influencers.

I Analyst Relations you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive analyst relations strategy to enhance the company's visibility and reputation within the industry.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key analysts and influencers from top-tier firms, including Gartner, Forrester, and others.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for analyst inquiries, briefings, and engagements, ensuring alignment between company messaging and analyst perceptions.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including product management, product marketing, and executive leadership, to gather insights and feedback for analyst interactions.

  • Coordinate and facilitate analyst briefings, inquiries, and presentations to ensure analysts clearly understand our products, technology, and market positioning.

  • Monitor and analyze analyst research, reports, and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks and provide actionable insights to internal teams.

  • Prepare and distribute regular updates and communications to internal stakeholders regarding analyst interactions, research findings, and industry developments.

  • Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in database management, AI, data lakehouses, and related technologies, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance to the organization.

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of analyst relations activities, including analyst perceptions, coverage, and influence on business outcomes.

We're excited about you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, related field or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in analyst relations, marketing, or related roles within the technology industry.

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with top-tier analysts from firms such as Gartner, Forrester, and others.

  • Strong understanding of database management, artificial intelligence, data lakehouses, and related technologies and markets.

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and technologies clearly and concisely.

  • Strategic thinker who can develop and execute comprehensive analyst relations plans aligned with business objectives.

  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively across cross-functional teams and influence without authority.

  • Proactive and results-oriented with a passion for driving continuous improvement and excellence in all aspects of analyst relations.
